The xpress racewear team have entred the no budget cup round at Anglesea on a 1998 Honda CBR 600 to raise money for the Shropshire Air Ambulance.

We are getting sponsered by the lap or a fixed pledge for completing the 4 hour race. The teams 3 riders are competing under the team name of the “Steel Amigos” and will don fancy dress when not on the track. With a combined age of 136 years it may be they struggle with a fast lap time!

For the 10th year Xpress are backing the Ron Haslam Raceschool.

The school helps the full spectrum of rider ability to improve their riding skills in a safe environment. During the summer months they even cater for 5-10 year olds on their “my first liceince” an initciative to help youngsters learn how to ride. This is free and will also be at this years Moto GP.

Xpress MD Chris Parry is running a 1998 Honda 600 steelframe in the veteran Derby Pheonix cup again in 2011. “Club racing is great fun and at my age i’m lucky just not to be lapped!. Just goes to show its never too late in life to have fun.
